FOR ORGANIZATIONS BUILDING FUTURE LEADERSHIP CAPABILITY
Emerging Leaders Addressing a Consequential Business Challenge
Many organizations have capable people performing well today but need them prepared for broader leadership responsibility faster than normal development paths allow.
The challenge is helping leaders develop the ability to think beyond their function, navigate ambiguity, synthesize defensible recommendations, and communicate effectively as the work becomes broader and more consequential.
Emerging Teams is a mentored advisory experience built around a real challenge the business is facing.
A small cohort of emerging leaders develops stronger enterprise-level thinking and executive communication capabilities by working together on a consequential challenge.
What I do
I guide a small cohort of emerging leaders through developing recommendations that address a consequential challenge.
Drawing on experience as both a former industry executive and management consultant, I help participants strengthen how they frame problems and synthesize defensible recommendations.
How the work unfolds
The work with the cohort unfolds through direct executive mentorship as the team works together to frame the problem, synthesize recommendations, and refine its position through ongoing interaction.
What makes this different
Participants are not completing simulations or hypothetical exercises.
They are developing capabilities under professionally demanding direct mentorship and executive exposure while addressing a real challenge.
Who this is for
This work is designed for emerging leaders who need to be prepared to step into broader visibility, greater organizational complexity, and more consequential business responsibility.
It tends to resonate most in organizations that:
are facing succession, growth, or organizational change
are investing in future mid-level and senior leaders
see leadership potential that has not yet been fully developed
value leadership development connected directly to meaningful business work
How we work together
The executive sponsor helps define the business challenge, supports the cohort’s engagement with the work, and serves as the executive audience for the team’s evolving recommendations.
From there, the work unfolds as the cohort develops and tests hypotheses, synthesizes recommendations, and refines its thinking through ongoing interaction.
The engagement concludes with recommendation delivery, organizational discussion, and a broader assessment of leadership capability, readiness, and development opportunities revealed through the work.
Start a conversation
Most engagements begin with a confidential conversation about the leadership challenges, succession concerns, and organizational context driving the work.
